Embrace your future with healing

Individual, Couple, Sex and Relationship Therapy

Are you unhappy?  Do you wish for something to change?

Counselling, Psychotherapy and Sex and Relationship Therapy can help you to develop a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.  Sometimes life is very difficult, perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, depressed or confused.  You may want to change or wish for something more.  I understand it takes courage to seek help, it is not easy; but you are here now.

Perhaps you are going through a crisis, illness or a relationship issue.  Your friends may tell you that you or your relationship is fine, but you know this is not true; you need help to find the answers.  I offer a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgmental space in which to work with your distressing thoughts, emotions and behaviours.  You do not need to do this alone. Together we can find a way forward.

Why are you here?

  • Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by life?  You may be struggling with depression, anxiety or a lack of confidence and self-belief.

  • You may be coming to terms with the devastating effects of being a survivor of sexual, physical or psychological abuse.

  • Do you want to improve your relationships?  Perhaps you are going through a breakup, a divorce, struggling to communicate, experiencing infertility issues or grieving the loss of a loved one.

  • Perhaps you are coming to terms with the devastating effects of an affair, or trying to gain the courage to tell your partner you are having an affair.

  • You may be experiencing psychosexual difficulties for example vaginismus, dyspareunia, erectile difficulties, rapid ejaculation, low sexual desire or anxiety around sex and sexuality.

  • Perhaps you are unable to overcome an addiction or sexual compulsive behaviour, or you are affected by someone else’s addiction or sexual compulsive behaviour?

  • You may not know what you are feeling or what the issue is, but on some level, you know you need help.

I am a Psychotherapist (MBACP) and Sex & Relationship Therapist (RegCOSRT).  I am a registered member of both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).  Whilst my approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, I believe we are all unique, I tailor my way of working to ensure the best fit to you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
