Life throws many surprises, and whilst we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, counselling and psychotherapy can help you to develop a better understanding of yourself and how you react to certain situations.  Sometimes life is very difficult, you may be faced with a situation you never expected or imagined.  Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, lost, worthless, isolated, fearful, anxious, depressed and confused.   Maybe you have come to a place in your life where you want change, you wish for something more.  I understand it takes courage to seek help, it is not easy; but you are here now.  

Perhaps you are going through a crisis, redundancy, illness or a relationship issue.  Your friends may tell you that you are fine, but you know you are not; you need help to find the answers.  We can never truly know how another person is feeling, however by listening and putting ourselves in the place of the other we can start to connect.  You are a unique person, there is no one else in the world like you.  I offer a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgmental space in which to work with your distressing thoughts, emotions and behaviours.  You do not need to do this alone. Together we can find a way forward.

Why are you here?

  • Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by life?  You may be struggling with depression, anxiety or a lack of confidence and self-belief. 

  • You may be coming to terms with the devastating effects of being a survivor of sexual, physical or psychological abuse.

  • Do you want to improve your relationships?  Perhaps you are going through a breakup, a divorce, or grieving the loss of a loved one.

  • You may be experiencing psychosexual difficulties.

  • Perhaps you are unable to overcome an addiction or sexual compulsive behaviour, or you are affected by someone else’s addiction or sexual compulsive behaviour? 

  • Are you experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings?

  • You may not know what you are feeling or what the issue is, but on some level, you know you need help.


I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor, accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). Whilst my approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, I believe we are all unique, I tailor my way of working to ensure the best fit to you.
